Release of Liability & Assumption of Risk Agreement

By signing below, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Assumption of Risk

I understand that participation in Pilates classes, including reformer Pilates and related fitness activities at Anchor & Core, involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to:

● Muscle strain or soreness

● Sprains, tears, or fractures

● Falls

● Equipment-related injuries

● Aggravation of pre-existing conditions

I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries, or damages, known or unknown, that may occur as a result of my participation.

2. Medical Acknowledgment

I affirm that I am physically fit and have no medical condition that would prevent my full participation in classes.

If I am pregnant, recently postpartum, or under medical care, I understand that I must consult with my healthcare provider prior to participation and provide written clearance if required by studio policy.

I agree to inform my instructor of any injuries, limitations, or medical concerns before class begins.

3. Release & Waiver of Liability

In consideration of being permitted to participate in classes at Anchor & Core, I hereby release, waive, discharge, and hold harmless Anchor & Core LLC, its owner(s), instructors, employees, contractors, and agents from any and all claims, liabilities, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to:

● Personal injury

● Illness

● Property damage

● Loss or theft

● Negligence

I understand this release applies to any injury or damage that may occur during or as a result of my participation.

4. Equipment & Studio Conduct

I agree to follow all instructor guidance and studio policies. I understand that misuse of equipment or failure to follow instructions may increase my risk of injury.

I acknowledge that Anchor & Core reserves the right to refuse service if studio policies are not followed.

5. Personal Property

I understand that Anchor & Core is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings

I acknowledge that photos or videos may occasionally be taken for promotional purposes. I may notify the studio in writing if I do not wish to be included.

7. Agreement & Understanding

I have carefully read this Release of Liability and fully understand its contents. I am aware that this is a waiver and release of liability and I voluntarily agree to its terms.

I understand that by signing this agreement, I am giving up certain legal rights.

Recording & Photography Policy

To protect the privacy and comfort of our clients, personal recording is only permitted on the two end reformers and must not capture other clients in the frame.

Recording must not interfere with class flow. Instructors must be able to move freely throughout the studio and provide hands-on coaching without obstruction.

Anchor & Core reserves the right to ask any client to stop recording at any time if it disrupts the class experience, compromises privacy, or impacts safety.

From time to time, Anchor & Core may capture promotional photos or video. Clients will be notified in advance.

Pregnancy Policy

Clients who were regularly attending prior to pregnancy may continue participating with modifications.

Once you reach 16 weeks (four months) of pregnancy, a written note from your healthcare provider is required to continue attending classes.

Please notify your instructor in advance so we can support you safely.

Injury & Medical Conditions

If you have an injury or medical condition, please consult your healthcare provider before participating. Inform your instructor prior to class so appropriate modifications can be offered.

Studio Etiquette

• Grip socks are required for all classes.

• Phones must remain on silent and stored away during class.

• Personal belongings must be kept in designated storage areas.

• Respectful, supportive conduct is expected at all times.

Studio Policies

At Anchor & Core, our policies are in place to protect the experience of every client and maintain the integrity of our classes. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Class Reservations

All classes must be booked in advance through our online system or app. Spaces are limited due to our intentionally small class sizes.

If a class is full, we encourage joining the waitlist. When a spot becomes available, you will be automatically added and notified

. A valid credit card is required to be kept on file.

Limit 1 class per day.

Cancellation Policy

We require a minimum of 8 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a class.

• Late cancellations (within 8 hours of class start time) will result in a late cancellation fee of $15.

• No-shows will be charged a fee of $25.

This policy ensures fairness and allows waitlisted clients the opportunity to attend.

All classes can be can be cancelled or changed through the Anchor & Core app.

Membership Terms

Memberships are billed monthly on an auto-renew basis unless otherwise specified.

• Unused classes do not roll over.

• Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing 48 hours prior to your next billing cycle.

Class Pack Expiration

Class packs are non-refundable and expire according to the terms stated at purchase.
